Ambrook's mission is to help American businesses stay independent. We build financial tools to support farms, ranches, and other industrial operations in becoming more profitable and sustainable.
Most SMB accounting software today works for simple businesses, but not complex ones with multiple profit centers. At the same time, enterprise ERPs like NetSuite are notoriously too expensive and clunky for these companies. Agriculture is inherently complex – many small producers deal with multiple enterprises, multiple legal entities, various funding sources, and factors that make bookkeeping a challenge (ex: lack of internet access, analog payment methods, lack of time spent at a desk).
Ambrook aims to fill this gap by creating easy-to-use, powerful software that is tailored to its customers’ needs.
The presentation will walk through the underlying principles that guide how we design our products, including best practices for general recordkeeping, enterprise analysis, and tracking per-unit profitability. Additionally, we’ll share some free resources accessible by all producers, such as our Farm Funding Library and Ambrook Education.
