The San Antonio International Airport is roughly a 20-minute drive to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

There are many ways to commute from San Antonio International Airport (SAT), including:

  • Public transportation: VIA Metropolitan Transit offers bus service to downtown San Antonio:
    • Route 5: Departs from the far west end of Terminal B, and takes about 30 minutes to downtown. The cost is $1.30, and buses depart every 30 minutes.
    • Route 7: The Stone Oak Express bus departs from Stone Oak Park & Ride every 30 minutes, and takes about 15–20 minutes to the airport. The cost is $2.60.
  • Rideshare: Approved rideshare services, like Uber, meet customers on the outer commercial curbside, lower level of Terminal A.
  • Taxi: Taxi cabs are available at the outer commercial curbside at Terminal A. Fares to downtown San Antonio start at $24–$29.
  • Rental car: The airport has a Consolidated Rental Car Facility.
