CEO, National Corn Growers Association
In February 2023, the National Corn Growers Association’s Board of Directors appointed Neil Caskey as NCGA’s CEO. In this role, Neil not only manages the organization’s day-to-day operations but also works in concert with the NCGA officer team and the board of directors to establish NCGA’s strategic goals and direction.
Prior to becoming CEO, Neil’s served as NCGA’s vice president of communications and industry relations for over four years. Prior to his time at NCGA, he spent more than a decade promoting agricultural issues as executive vice president at OBP Agency, a leading agriculture advertising and public relations firm. His professional background also includes work for the American Soybean Association and as a legislative aide for a U.S. member of Congress.
During his tenure at NCGA, Neil has been at the forefront of some of the organization’s top issues. Most recently, he played a leading role in challenging Mexico on its efforts to ban genetically modified corn. As a result of these efforts, the U.S. Trade Representative requested a panel formation under the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement.
Neil holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master’s in Business Administration from Webster University.
Chief Executive Officer, National Pork Producers Council
Bryan Humphreys is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC). He is responsible for implementing NPPC’s overall operations and programs.
From growing up on a family pig farm to becoming an industry advocate, Humphreys brings a lifetime of pork industry experience. Before joining NPPC in 2022, Humphreys was a senior vice president at the National Pork Board. In this role, Humphreys implemented a nationwide producer outreach plan during the pandemic and strengthened relationships on behalf of the organization. In doing so, Humphreys helped guide the organization to exceed expectations set by the industry.
Previously, Humphreys served as the executive vice president of the Ohio Pork Council (OPC). At OPC, Humphreys cultivated award-winning producer image campaigns and fostered positive relationships with stakeholders and community members.
Humphreys also served as the director of grassroots operations for NPPC and has several years of experience working on political campaigns across the Midwest. Through these roles, Humphreys recruited advocates and volunteers to promote organization and campaign initiatives.
Humphreys earned a bachelor’s from Iowa State University and a master’s degree from George Washington University. Humphreys is originally from Columbus Junction, Iowa, where he grew up on his family farm.
Executive Vice President, American Farm Bureau Federation
Joby Young became the Executive Vice President of the American Farm Bureau in July 2022. He leads the AFBF staff, managing across all departments to achieve the goals of the President and Board of Directors and fulfill AFBF’s mission.
Joby has more than a decade of experience in food and agriculture policy, from the halls of Congress to the Executive Branch. He served as Chief of Staff to Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue after serving in that same role for the Deputy Secretary and several USDA offices. He also previously served as Chief of Staff in the House of Representatives and as a consultant in the private sector.
Joby is a graduate of the University of Georgia, with degrees in History and Communications, and he holds a law degree from the UGA School of Law.
